Anyone think of a reason Paul Casey is in the 50s with a 2nd last week and reasonable course form for The Honda?

Looking back on Sunday evening I'm raging play had to stop because Casey was the man in form and had charged to the top of the leaderboard. But from the get go this morning, his whole game had left him. Still a nice ew return though.

has to be Jacob for me this week and this course is short

I try stay away from European tour but Hoey price at 80/1 was bit too good to miss.

He was runner up here in 6 years ago. He was one tournaments like Dunhill Links and in windy conditions and apparently its meant be bit blustery this week. He won what 4 or 5 tournaments? So he worth a bet for me.

Just small 2euro ew on him.

    DJ, Snedeker and Luiten.

    Sterne, Mowat and Kruger.

    All EW.

This has been the hardest decision so far this season.

After my initial research I fancied Reed, Day, Watson and even Paul Casey but before I looked at anything I wanted to back DJ and I'm going to stick with it.

About 2 months ago I made a note to back him at Doral and that's what I'm going to do at 20/1.

Going with Gregory Bourdy in Europe at 25/1.

Will Wilcox just missed out in PR Open and thought it was going be one of those weeks. Thankfully not.

Glad I got it right with the hard decision. In future if I note somebody for a future tournament I won't do any research on the Monday prior to the tournament. Why make it more difficult.

I fancy Dustin for the final major of the year but when I went to back him last week he had moved from 33/1 to 25/1 so I thought I'd wait. Wonder what price he will be tomorrow.

Really looking forward to the Masters now.

No reason not to back Snedeker at 33/1. He's a player who can win multiple times when in form.

Going with Jean Hugo at 66/1 in Europe.

Trying not to have foggy green glasses on... but Harrington set the course record on the Thursday at this week's tournament course in 2012 and then fell away. I will be looking to see what first round leader odds come out tomorrow. Currently 50/1 first round leader with Ladbrokes.

Will also be looking at Luke Donald... likes the course, won here in 2012, T-4 last year and currently finding some form.

  • Registered Users Posts: 325 ✭✭MUFC91CS

Furyk, Bae and MacKenzie in the states all ew.

Small ew bets on Mowat and Van der Berg in Europe.

  • Registered Users Posts: 34,044 ✭✭✭✭The_Kew_Tour

I normally not a fan of backing English guys on PGA Tour cause I always feel they are bad value most of time. But its hard to ignore Luke Donald this week. He was 33s and I missed that but will take the 30s ew from Bet365. He has won here and 3 top 10s the last 4 years. Hard to ignore that, plus his coach is really talking big about him again

I'm going give Gary Woodland one more go. Course form here seems to be very important and Woodland is previous winner. 40/1 ew

Hence why I'm also backing Goosen at 100\1. George McNeill has been runner up here before and he was in Top 10 last year and after a good perormasnce last week got 110\1ew

    My other 2 picks are
    Stefani 90/1
    Finau 150/1

6 players but anyway....Good luck everyone

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,536 ✭✭✭Dolph Starbeam

Watney at 45/1 is my main fancy this week. Ishikawa at 250/1, Ortiz at 200/1 and Zac Blair at 200/1 all each way long shots. All small stakes again. Good luck everyone.
