Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Congrats man! It's great to hear a bit of good news like that when all else you seem to hear is people losing their jobs and places closing down.

+1 on the Sega Rally cab. If your wife tries to divorce you it means she didn't deserve you in the first place :pac:

    Exactly!

And think about it, if she leaves, she'll be taking her stuff. Freeing up space for even more Windys :)

Famicomblog makes me sick. The guy on it picked up a CIB Virtual Boy for $4, it even had the AC adapter thing with it.

FYI I upgraded my iPhone 4 last night straight after the iPad. No issues at all, it took maybe 30 mins roughly to complete each device upgrade.

I'll probably wait a few days to do the Apple TV 2 as SteveSI said his was wrecked.

    Any news on yours lads?

Just a quick thing on the iPad.
This new wireless sync with itunes is only supposed to work when the ipad is charging when connected to a wall socket etc. But it works fine for me with the iPad disconnected.

Let me know how it works for you when you update.

Why I'm getting a PS Vita. Yes.

Oh, we'll all get a Vita eventually, I'm sure.
That rear touch pad is surely the winner of the "most likely to be removed from the hardware when they're trying to make a cheaper version of the device" award for 2012!

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 5,328 ✭✭✭Pyongyang

I have to pledge my allegiance to Cave if they are doing Vita support. The more titles the fans can help shift the more we'll hopefully get more arcade titles in 2012 and beyond.

If they pledged support for the 3DS I'd buy one (after the inevitable redesign).

Ahh! Dreamcast has once again succumbed to Random Reset Syndrome. I bought it faulty, unawares. Time to crack the bitch open once more and see how much more time I can buy it. I'm really wondering how many more times I can get away with it.

They're brilliant at reducing features with time. Most manufacturers consult with the accounts first...Sony seem to do that bit last

Took a break from OoT for a while, been too busy to sink any time into it lately. Picked back up today...where had I left off? That's right. The Water Temple.

I conquered that b@stard in one sitting. It's actually nowhere near as bad as its made out to be difficulty wise.

It's language like this that is why your DC just doesn't want to be with you anymore, preferring to just cease to be rather than submit to your verbal abuse.
You don't deserve her, you b@stard!

Is this good value for Saturn games?
Works out as 16 euro each including post. Sonic r, xmen children of the atom, marvel superheroes, panzer dragoon 2, street fighter warrior dreams.
All Pal, including manuals and in good condition.
    What ya think?

Is that the videopac i sent back to them as it was faulty and they put it back up for sale the next, still faulty?

Did they at least tell you it was faulty when you bought it and sell it to you cheap?

    Edit:
You can grab those procs for a few euro on ebay by the way.

My replacement arcade monitor from Ronnie just hit Dublin port so I will have it in the morning.

Only took a few months to sort out :D

Hope the monitor is decent, now I just need to sort out someone to install it for me. Don't fancy doing that job by myself with no prior experience.

Hmm, thought it was out. Have heard reports from journalists that have played them that they prefer the DS one and think it's one of the best games on the system. Just presumed it was out.

I did hear the DS game is great though. Must investigate

Has anyone heard of Nanashi no Game on the DS?

    http://www.hardcoregaming101.net/nanashinogame/nanashinogame.htm

It's a game were you play a cursed famicom videogame that kills anyone that plays it in seven days. It's only recently been fan translated. Sounds interesting, think I'll give it a go.

Yeah I meant to pick it up, along with its more appealing sequel when in Tokyo, but ran out of money (i.e. spent all my money on famicom stuff, and Ni No Kuni DS as it happens). Wouldn't have been able to play it anyway, would've just been a curio. Will have to check out the translation though
