Is a number in brackets by definition a minus and a minus minus is equal to a plus?

I think so but I'm not 100% minus minus tbh

If one minus was outside the brackets and one minus was inside it would equal a plus.

    -(-4) = +4 as far as I remember

Yes that is right. Knew that earlier but not too familiar with how golf competitions work.

so above would work like this.

    nett = (score)-(handicap).

Predicting a Whitson vs Hurley final.

Just because I think they are the two best players left in it.

Should be an interesting days golf tomorrow. I will go for a Cannon and Hurley final.. Robbie as I know him though Whitson has been the form player so far and Hurley destroyed Lyons in the last round and looks to be in top form.

Sounds like a birdie fest over there this morning... Jack Hume has had 4 on the bounce and 3 up while Robbie Cannon had 2 on the bounce and is 2 up.

2nd shot from Robbie Cannon on 18 to win the match.. Some golf it sounded like birdies to win with very few dropped shots from any of the 4 players.

Jack Hume is 2 up and was about 5 under according to the live scoring.

Jack Hume won it 3/2 with a birdie on 16. Played some golf!

A/S going down 17... Tough Tough hole and both players seem to a bit edgy.

Went out and played golf this evening instead of watching the final. Was playing with a friend of mine who's in college in Maynooth and knows Hume and says he is an unbelievable golfer.

I'm absolutely delighted for him. Well deserved!

What's his handicap do you know?

He was 2 down at the turn, level after 16, 1 up after 17 and holed a super putt on 18 to win it I believe.

    +3

might be almost +4 after his two qualifying rounds.

Apparently he's well inside the top 100 for amateurs in the world.

Surely see him as a pro soon enough. Shooting mid-low 60s on that course is unreal

    That picture above.

Now that is pressure, makes you feel a bit sad about a 6 footer at a society outing - class.
