Kirk's deadly:), bless him. How can they justify hiring two people at the same time in that shop ffs! The Rover's is the same, there's nearly always more behind the bar that's in front of it.

I know; like going back a couple of decades when more people would have used the Kabin, there was only Rita and Mavis working there.. now there's three..two depending on your mindset. Although if they got rid of Tina and brought Blanche in there to work, then it would be comedy central.

Dont think many would be going in there for their pension if both Blanche and Norris was behind the counter.

Do most people forget that the Kabin is also a Post Office. When last did we see Ken, Blanche, Emily etc draw their pension there or anyone to buy a stamp.

What do they need a stamp for, anyone they know lives 5 minutes away. Sure Rita gives the pensions to Liz in the Rovers...saves them a trip anyway.

Rosie Webster is horrified when she realises ex-lover Luke Strong has run off with all her money.
The factory boss convinces Rosie to buy his shares in the business.
But he fails to tell her he no longer owns them.

What Rosie doesn’t know is that scheming Luke defaulted on the repayments so the shares have reverted back to former owner Carla Gordon.

But having had his wicked way with Rosie and her cash once before, he tricks her into handing over all her money.

And by the time the smitten babe discovers the truth it’s too late for her to do anything about it.

A Coronation Street insider said: “Rosie has been flaunting her newly-found wealth ever since she was given the cash by John Stape because of his guilt at kidnapping her. He had hoped she would use it wisely and invest in her future.

    “But that wasn’t Rosie’s style.

“She bought a flash sports car and designer clothes and bailed Luke out of his financial troubles by investing in the factory.

“So when he finds out he no longer owns any shares in the business he quickly realises he can fleece Rosie of even more of her cash.

“It’s a low thing to do but some would say that she has finally got her comeuppance.”

Our source on the hit show added: “There certainly won’t be many on the Street who’ll feel sorry for her once they find out what’s happened.

“For years she’s built up her position as the bitch of the Street and now looks like the moment it all comes home to roost for her!”

Veteran actor Nigel Havers has joined the cast of Coronation Street.
The 59-year-old, who is best known for his role as Lord Andrew Lindsay in 1981 movie Chariots Of Fire, is to appear as a possible new love interest for hair salon owner Audrey Roberts (Sue Nicholls).
Audrey first meets Havers's character Lewis when she attends a ball with Norris Cole (Malcolm Hebden) in the run-up to Christmas. She is immediately bowled over by his charming ways, but feels frustrated because he is accompanying her old friend Claudia, played by one-off guest Rula Lenska.
However, the night out takes a twist when Claudia reveals that Lewis is a gentleman escort who charges women for his company at social events. There is no suggestion that the show newcomer is anything more than a party companion for his clients.
Instantly interested in the idea, Audrey hires Lewis to be on her arm at her next engagement, but ends up developing stronger feelings for him than she anticipated.
A Coronation Street spokesperson confirmed that Havers will be seen on screen for the first time on December 18. He will remain with the Weatherfield soap until well into 2010.

Former Footballers' Wives star Ben Price is to take over the role of Coronation Street's Nick Tilsley, it has been announced.

The actor, who played love rat Conrad Gates in the ITV1 drama, will be seen in his new part for the first time this Christmas.

Adam Rickitt previously appeared as Nick on and off from 1997 to 2004. Weatherfield producers announced their decision to recast the character in July this year.

Nick has been tipped to immediately cause fireworks on the Street as he has a dangerous liaison with his half-brother David's (Jack P. Shepherd) ex-girlfriend Tina McIntyre (Michelle Keegan) following his arrival. Neither party is aware of the other's identity until they meet again on Christmas Day.

Meanwhile, the returnee must also face his history with ex-wife Leanne Battersby (Jane Danson), as well as his seeing his other old partner Maria Connor (Samia Smith) again when she returns from Ireland in the New Year.

Speaking of his new role, Price commented: "I am absolutely delighted to get this part. I have been seen a couple of times for Coronation Street characters in the past few years, but I am pleased now that I didn't get those roles. I am really looking forward to stamping my own mark on the character of Nick."

As well as Footballers' Wives, Price is known for playing the role of Nathan Spencer in BBC medical drama Casualty.

The actor will begin filming for the soap on Monday and be seen on screen for the first time on December 21.

Would be interesting to see the story go further, see what kind of reaction the older woman and teenage fellow would get. We know if it was the other way round, that there would be war.

Not a chance, shur he's only had two affairs prior to Molly. One with Natalie and an affair with Sally when he was with Alison. Sally is miles ahead of him in the affairs race after Greg Kelly, Chris Collins, Kevin (When she was with Danny) Alex the painter guy, Ian Davenport and her one way affair with John Stape.

According to The Sun, Nick, who will now be played by former 'Footballers' Wives' star Ben Price, is back in Weatherfield to meet his mum and future step-dad.
However he ends up kissing Tina McIntyre (Michelle Keegan) after they meet on night out.

Unaware that Nick is David's brother or her soon to be step-brother, Tina ends up in his arms after a row with new love Jason.
Tina (Michelle Keegan) doesn't realise that his mum is Gail Platt (Helen Worth) who is to wed her dad Joe McIntyre (Reece Dinsdale).
She's shocked when her dad formally introduces them on Christmas Day and is then terrified at the prospect of Jason discovering her secret.
