Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Any chance of a year?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,393 ✭✭✭Red Hare

This painting was made in 1917 ( its hard to find out this info - not a well known fact about this painting)

This Irish artist painted a similar themed/ titled painting in 1921/22 in which the direction in that instance was 'south'.

Surely someone else knows this lads.

some of this lads stuff is FILTH, pure Filth, I'm a fan of it:D

I cant answer tho as it would just put the whole thing back to square one, what with me being unable to create the next image.

but really guys its in your own interest to become 'familiar' with this artiste work;)

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,069 ✭✭✭Tzar Chasm

This space reserved to post a selection from the artists portfolio, once the mods verify that its Art and not smut :o

I may have missed the point, the aim of the game is to identify the image posted and not a critique on the Artist's catalogue of work.

I'm not even sure what you are calling "FILTH"

So, if , someone could name the artist and we can all move on.

The golden tule, "it's all in the eye of the beholder."

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,069 ✭✭✭Tzar Chasm

It was an attempt at humor, in reference to one of the artists recurring themes, I had hoped that the use of smileys had conveyed that

Mod note - Posting other images other than to 'name the art' is off topic for this thread. Graphic pics are a no no. This is not an art forum as such. Play nicely

Naw, its all there in the image title, but like I said before, I'm not going to name it because I'm not in a position to create the next image.

Guy is a fantastic painter tho, I've seena few of his paintings before, his ability to portray light and shaddow is astounding

Google tells me it's Steve Hanks - A New Beginning.

Now, I just answered purely just to stop the phucking around - I have absolutely no intention of posting a picture.

I nominate "anyone who wants" to take my go.
