I've about 80 friends and I reckon I'm actually friends with about 20. I try not add people but I what happens when you bump into someone you didn't accept?... Awkward...

I get on very well with a lot of people in real life and online, and have kept in touch with a few former colleagues from previous jobs, but I have a very small circle of what I would call true friends. One of those is an American lady I met online. She is one of the treasures of my life, and is someone whom I would miss greatly if she was not there.

So, I suppose the answer is - one online friend who is a real friend.

Now I feel I'm being really mean about my other "online friends".

Depends, here on boards.ie I'd be mates with a few of the lads in the Martial Arts forum (I've even beat, and been beaten by some).

On facebook I don't tolerate randomers and if I haven't had any direct communication with anyone for a few weeks I'll cull them, so my FB friends list stays more or less around the 60-70 mark, but they're all people I'd call friends.
    cull
So overall I'd say we're looking at 80-90 between boards & FB.

"Been beat". Grammar. Paramount. The beautiful one has been beat. Culling too, very 19th century. And grading in a mark of 60-70 and 80-90 is quite cute.
