Anyone else purchase this offer a few months ago? And did they actually get their windows cleaned?

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,463 ✭✭✭fifib

This thread covers bargains and deals. Also the questions around these as they always turned into discussions about this or that deal, and another similar deal somewhere else and so on.
    Hope that explains it.

Btw, is your question based on that you got this deal or that you're thinking of getting it?

there is a great offer on at the moment in Brown Thomas on the Estee Lauder Counter.

If you purchase two items, you get an amazing free gift (a bit similar to the one the have at Christmas but which costs 60 Euro). as far as I can recall you get three regular size jars of various moisturizers/creams, two large eye shadow palettes, two mascaras, two lipsticks, a small cosmetic bag and a large cosmetic bag.

Its an extravagant excellent free gift compared to the regular ones and the deal is on until September 2.

There can be good bargains found at the Galway Lions Club Radio Auction. Items are donated by businesses and individuals and then sold by auction on Galway Bay FM, with all proceeds going to local needy families.

Details on the items for auction can be found here - http://goo.gl/4DLX0
There a link to a frequently asked question page there also. I got a good few questions last year.

If you do your research, see something you like, you can pick up some items at very good prices. Last year, some items went at 50% of the list prices although it's more likely to be about 80%.

That list will be updated regularly as the auction approaches so keep an eye on it. It could be worth it. Dec 7 is the date of the auction. There will be a faq up on the site soon. In the meantime look at posts 313 and 315 of this thread.

    Thanks

Galway installations will be starting next week. We'll have 2 Parcel Motels there - Newcastle and the Dock Road. Keep an eye on Facebook & Twitter for live updates.

I have already registered for ParcelMotel using one in Limerick as default. As soon as the Galway ones are up I'm going to change it. Not going to order until then.

€30 spend for €15 at Olive's Salthill. I picked this up last time and found it excellent value. Managed to feed 3 people and only had to add about €2 to the voucher. Left them €5 as to be able to feed 3 people for €20 of (what I consider) decent quality food was still a bargain

ParcelMotel now has 3 Galway locations available. You can register and get your NI address and 2 free credits.

Just placed my first order this weekend which offered free delivery within UK. Fingers crossed this works out. Could be a game changer.
