Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Hey, I was just summarising your posts, there's no call to be offensive. I have traversed all the other points you made about the PDs being advocates of civil liberties and looked into them - each one appears to be primarily attributable to another party, all came in when the PDs were out of government. So while I may have been a bit glib, that was the only social innovation that you could point to that came in when the PDs were in power.

Oh, and post reported (belatedly) for personal abuse.

Yes, the Irish people are very conservative, especially when it comes to immigration. And there is no inconsistency between being conservative and popular.

A lot of ex PD's have expressed an interest in Amhran Nua, in particular the anti-corruption and secularist stance

I thought most ex-Pd's were getting involved with The Liberals

Not especially to the best of my knowledge, the Liberals website seems just a holding page, other than a recent debate I have heard nothing of them.
Perhaps they are in other areas, but a lot of what might be considered Lib Dems here in Galway, and in Cork certainly, are expressing interest.

A few people in Dublin are now coming on stream

The libs dont have any policies or ideas on site, I asked for info way back, the AN came on the scene.
I only recently got an email from a Mr Fitzpatrick about an event with Enda Kenny

    :p FYP

Nah, there are a few PDs involved in the Liberals, but most went to Labour, Fine Gael, Fianna Fail, Greens.
None to SF or the SP AFAIK.
