Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi guys!

I am selling the following parts and was wondering what you would deem being a fair price:

    DFI LanParty 915P - T12 Chipset MoBo
    Intel P4 3.4Ghz HT 2MB L2 Cache (Socket 775)
    2 x 512Mb (DDR1) Corsair XMS - PC3200 (DDR400) - Latency: 2-3-2-6
Point of View nVidia Geforce 7800GTX 256MB PCI-Express

I was thinking €230 EUR. Am I being greedy or is that fair in your (expert) opinion?

    Thank you in advance! ;)
    Shameless bump! :)

Quick valuation needed for a dodgy Lappy:

    HPdv4045ea
    Intel Pentium M (Centrino) 1.6GhZ
    512MB RAM
    80GB HDD 5400rpm
    DVD-RW
    15.4" Screen (glassy type/truelife)

Taking into account that it currently doesn't work (blue screen on start up following a fall, everything appears to start up, pretty sure it's HDD only. DVD-RW cover also missing but can be opened by pressing non-cosmetic button). Two hopeful quick fixes, otherwise mint.

Around the 200 mark at most.
Guy was selling a bunch of similar laptops for that price with no HDD.
Considering yours gives a BSOD, that negates the hardrive inclusion.

Few fans and exhaust installed also for what it's worth

    Anyone, please and thank you

    Hey Justin,
~250 would be the most you would see for this.

    Reasons:
    Not dual core.
    Old Graphics.
    Tiny Hard Drive.

    Good:
    Excellent Motherboard
    Good DVD writer
    Sufficient amount of ram.

    hey guys,

    AMD Athlon 64 X2 6000+
    Asus M2N-E SLI Mobo
    Crucial DDR2 2048MB 6400 800MHz+ RAM
    Asus GeForce 8600GT 512MB GDDR3 Silent
    500GB SATA2 16MB 7200RPM
Microsoft Windows Vista Ultimate OEM DVD 64 bit
    500W Xion PowerSupply
    3 Ultra Quiet Amber fans
XION II SILVER w/blue led, Steel Chassis X-Factor Metallic Design
    Acer 19in Widescreen TFT Monitor
    Logitech Wireless Keyboard and Mouse

I would pay about 400 for this without the screen.

Price will drop to 300 (within the next 3 months):
Next generation Nvidia graphics cards released.
    New Intel processors come out.
Its a solid rig, let down only by the graphics.

I'm going to be moving into my own place soon and I don't know if I have room for my pc, am thinking about putting a shuttle together. I might re-use some components so I might split this machine on adverts too:

    case: antec p180 black
monitor: dell 2007 20" tft with one deal / stuck pixel (not in your face though)
    desk: generic and free!

cpu: intel core 2 duo extreme x6800
    cooler: zalman 9500
    ram: 4GB OCZ-platinum El-XTC 4-5-4-15
    os: vista hp 64-bit (licenced)
    hd1: 74GB raptor 15k rpm
    hd2: 750GB desktar 7.2k rpm, 32MB cache
    tv: ati tv card
    mobo: gigabyte ga-965p-dq6
    graphics: club3d 8800GTs 320MB
keyboard / mouse: bluetooth lazer mx5000
    optical: sata samsung burner
psu: tagan modular, 430 or 480 watt

Just wondering if anyone knew the going rate for such a pc lately. The only downside to the splitting is that the windows licence would probably be invalid.

i've been slowly putting together a mid-level system over the past while getting bits from various different sellers and was wondering what the valuation is:

    Board: DFI Dark p965 (Infinity)
CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo E6550
    Memory: 2GB OCZ Platinum DDR2 PC6400 Rev 2
    Video: Dell OEM 7900GTX
    Fan: Zalman CNPS7700-Cu CPU-Cooler
Audio: Creative X-Fi Xtreme Gamer Soundcard
    PSU: 600w OCZ GameXStream PSU
Case: Akasa Mirage 62 (3 internal system fans)

I'll be using a HDD, LG-DVD RW drive & TFT monitor from my previous system but don't need these in the valuation
