Ahh it makes sense now. The coincidence of someone with the exact same serial code looking at the exact same time, was beyond me! LOL.

done a job on the fathers 2004 focus & had to dis-connect the battery...

he miss-placed or cant find the code for the radio,,,

any way of getting this ?

If you ring a Ford garage and give them the reg of the car they can get it for you, but probably a charge on it.

*tip* take out the radio and see if the code is scrapped into the back of it or on a sticker on it. A lot of places used to do this.

Get The Serial number from the side off the stereo & post it up Here,someone will get the code for you for free(code will start with the letter M):)

Your radio I think is a Vw Beta model. Codes for this radio are not available off serial number. You will need to give it to someone who can decode it for you.

I've a 2002 Renault Laguna, it had a pioneer head unit fitted but this is acting up so I went to out the original one in, the previous owner kindly left it in the boot, but, when I put the radio back I to the car it has CODE displayed, I cannot find the code in any of the manuals with the car.

What info is needed to get the code?
