Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Thanks for allowing us to share our work here! It's always great meeting other artists. My work varies from Symbolist artwork, to wood carving and soft toys. Please feel free to come over a visit and drop me a line! My website can be found at susanneiles (dot) com. I'm new to the boards so it won't allow me to paste a full url yet. :)

I haven't painted for 2 decades, but finally decided to give it a go again. My inspiration from a photo that I took recently in the Autumn of the Dark Hedges.

I'm guessing this is proving difficult to see. Does anyone know how I can add it at a bigger size? The method I used to use seems to have changed and not for the better.

Personal project along side class work.

Never done a screen printed concertina book - so this is the out come.
Not too happy with it but its a practice, may make more on my own time.

Started a personal project based on ugly ceramic's in the V&A

I plan to screen print it in late April - was just for fun and to experiment with layout styles before I start a book project.

This is what I do for relaxation in my Mellow Room. I only use damaged vinyl records that were destined for the dump. Many hours are spent testing the vinyls on my little record player and dancing or singing at the top of my voice (thank goodness, no one can see or hear me ;) )...

I started with making bowls, then display stands, onto clocks, followed by handbags with a few PLAY ME greeting cards in between. Major fun listening to the old records and enjoying the memories that come with it.

Anyone else out there that recycles vinyl records?

    Hi there,
I tend to draw real things like engines/motors/aircraft/tanks/boats and so on and we changed out a shower unit in our house and I pulled off the cover and drew what I saw, so you have the main transformer top right, water temperature selection gears bottom right and water in and out on the left. In terms of drawing, there are a lot of straight lines so it's easy to get started and a few curves and a bit of freehand to draw the smaller details so it exercises a lot of different skills. It's different in it's own right and fun to get right, so to speak.
