Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Definite penalty there not given to Chelsea

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 48,254 ✭✭✭✭km79

    stone wall pen
if that was in the league as a Costa and hazard owner I'd be livid!!!!
I dunno will Costa finish this game...... part of Me would not mind freeing up funds by having to sell him but then people on wildcard will all get aguero

2nd one on one of the match - Courtois saving Chelsea's blushes - this time saving well from Coutinho

Are Liverpool looking worth investment then? Sterling looking any good?

They don't look top bad at all tbf, problem is picking out which one to get. No stand out attacker

Sterling and Coutinho are the two obvious choices, Gerrard on pens and if he plays that attacking role is definitely an option too, though rotation worry is an issue. Lallana a possibility too. Def agree though hard to pick which one! Sturridge return will affect things - Sterling adopting less of a central position for a start. I'm genuinely considering going Sturridge and one of the mids once Sturridge has a couple of games under his belt. I feel Sturridge returning could have a really big impact and Liverpool could really open up in terms of goalscoring

Costa is going to get at least one 3 game ban out of one of the 2 alleged stamps
this was always likely given his history with skertl
wildcarders without aguero have an easy escape plan
mine will involve a 4 pt hit due to siggys red

if sakho isnt badly injured him or moreno could be worth a shout. They have looked quite good defensively the past month. I think a fair bit of it is down to sakho so wouldnt go near them if he is out.

    and gerrard

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 15,264 ✭✭✭✭manual_man

Costa absolutely nuts. Lucky again not to see red. Himself and Gerrard get yellow

Seriously, seriously considering getting him in instead of Terry. I have the spare cash with nothing else left to do with it.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 39,578 ✭✭✭✭KevIRL

Gerrard should have gotten the red there. Yellow correct for Costa that time

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,249 ✭✭✭Steven81

Will be interesting if Rodgers mentions the two Costa stamps in post match interviews.

Costa might get away without a suspension. Two stamps but I reckon it'd be hard to prove intent with either of them.

Up to 8 yellows on the season though so 2 away from a 1-game ban, plus he's bound to get sent off at some stage. I'm wary of captaining him ever for that reason.

It will be a 2 game suspension for 10 yellows.

Presuming he gets a 3 game suspension for the stamp, will he also get the 2 games when he picks up the 2 yellows before the cut off point?

He will get them, so that's likely 5 games he'll miss through suspension in a short period of time.

how did Defoe look at weekend ? he played full 90?
if I get him for Costa I can finally bite the bullet and get Sanchez in......I sti

    have Walcott too :D
alternatively I may get Adam Johnson and pelle (and I'd much prefer him ) and continue sanchezless for rest of season
why can't he just get injured like all the rest of the big players

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 15,264 ✭✭✭✭manual_man

2-1 to Sheffield. mental stuff altogether. 2 goals in the space of a few mins. going to extra time as we stand. 10 mins + stoppage time left!
