Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Not to mention that the no. 1 reason for "aftermarket front end" is because the original is still in a ditch somewhere outside Fermoy.

You know the old saying, "It is morally wrong to let a sucker keep his money"
To some 17 year old lad with little money and even less brains, this will look better than any Ferrari.

Number 4 is at 45%, "she'll fly threw [sic] the NCT"

Who ever thinks it's a good idea to remove the VW badge, when there's a cut out on the bonnet for the top of the circle....but I guess it could have just fallen off....

That's a badgeless aftermarket grille, and the badge fits snugly in the original grille so the badge couldn't just fall off.

Not to bad if you ask me take the front tints off center the the with a normal one and swap out the exhaust tips and you've a taken away most of the problems. The price is a different story

I don't mind those side plates but it's odd that the plate on that Passat is in the way of the fog light.

I don't like the way front bumpers for cars sold in Europe come with licence plate indents. The US is doing it right with smooth front bumpers and in some states you don't even need a front plate.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 73,477 ✭✭✭✭colm_mcm

But in Europe you need them. Why wouldn't they have pre-tapped holes for number plates?

What felters do to 10 year old cars isn't top of manufacturers priorities.

I'm just saying I prefer the clean (US style) bumpers.

As in, you don't like number plates!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,925 ✭✭✭GvidoR

Well, not so much, but if you take it off from a Euro bumper, it wont look as clean as that, it has that weird indent thing where the plate goes.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 73,477 ✭✭✭✭colm_mcm

The plate goes there. You don't need to take it off.

    I give up.
