Massa was running very close to the back of Kobayashi and didn't have a clear view of Kimi, it also looked like Massa was shaping up to go past Kobayashi and move right so was committed to going that way when he saw Kimi. That's just the way it looked to me anyway.

Looking at the replays its clear if Massa had not spun the car he would have T-boned Kimi.

How that barrier repair coming along?

There was one guy with a spanner initially, someone must have had a word because there seems to be about 20 lads working on it now.:)

Just seen track being swept, cant be too far off.

Why couldn't they just plump a tyre wall in front of the barriers and get going again?

Tyre barrier there would do more harm than good in a crash. It would have to be 3 tyres deep,. and would be then too close to teh track.

The cars could have torn through the barrier and a rough edge in the wrong place could have been fatal.

I wonder if Coultard will get a chance to say 'concertina effect' at some point during this race......

Embarrassing how much quicker the Mercs are than everything else, it's like a video game with mixed car categories.

Come on Lewis hunt down Nico.

Jenson being sensible and letting Lewis past. Now we're in for a humdinger of a fight.

Wouldn't be a massive fan of Lewis but what a driver!

Lewis and Bottas are flying, anyone but Rosberg for the win

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,831 ✭✭✭Peanut Butter Jelly

Bottas is a man on a mission. Nico is pulling away from Lewis ever so slightly now.
