    I criticise Massa a lot but he did well there to avoid a big incident.

    Well done to Felipe Massa for his actions - if he had T-boned Kimi the resulting accident could have beeb catastrophic.

    Hope Kimi is ok - that bump should not be there - lessons have not been learned.

    He was actually very unlucky. He locked the rears and it spun him. If he didn't lock the rears, he could have got away scot free.

    I think it's 5 hours now after the debacle in Canada with 8 hours. Clock stops under red flag though, with max race time of 2 hours.

    In a sense, yes. What officially happens is the clocks keep running and the time the race is stopped is added onto the 2 hours

    Not sure why the BBC are lauding Massa for his reactions. Two drivers in front of him had to take even quicker action and were able to avoid wrecking the car. Kobayashi had to skip out in the same direction the Ferrari was travelling and got away with it. Massa, if anything, was slow.

    F1 need to get the Le Mans armco repair guys in they could travel over from france and finish the job faster

    At least it's not like 2002. Similar damage in Japan took 2 hours to repair.

    Seeing that reminded me of the Henry Surtees accident a few years ago.
    The longer this goes on the more chance of a shower later in the race.

    Massa was running very close to the back of Kobayashi and didn't have a clear view of Kimi, it also looked like Massa was shaping up to go past Kobayashi and move right so was committed to going that way when he saw Kimi. That's just the way it looked to me anyway.
