Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I'd rather pay the household charge than the bloody tv licence fee.

    Libraries rock :o

Bertie/Mahon Tribunal story made the front page of The Washington Post today.

But the LLS talk about the household charge. FFS.

    Any proof? No mention online.

Hope Ming gets imprisoned for not paying this.

And Ryan is a FF chancer, why not talking about the the Mahon Tribunal.

Why aren't local authority tenants being charged as well? Don't they use parks and libraries too??

Fair play to Ming, just sitting there not interrupting or shouting like you see so many of them do (remember the presidential debate ffs?). He just sits there saving up the points he has to make and unleashes them in one paragraph of devastating ownage.

Tubridy's very good with the numbers here.. maybe FF should have put him in charge of Bertie's finances..

Tubby can't suppress a smirk here-the day he thought he'd be getting political capital out of Ming (whom I'm a fan of, fwiw).

Why are the crowd clapping at this fool? He is a populous fool

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,425 ✭✭✭telekon

It must be said, Ming is very eloquently spoken for a degenerate pothead.

The only way you will have to pay is when you sell your house -They will get you on the registration of your new house from the old house - They got me that way in the '80's with rates.......

I don't get local services I live in a rural area where I have my own well other than that I wouldn't have running water though I'm only a half a mile from mains water and the government won't bring it down our road where there are 7 other homes like ours, We have to bring our own waste/recycling to the dump ourselves and we clip the hedges and fix the road ourselves too as well as put grit on it in ice and snow so if they think I'm going to pay a household charge they can go to fcuk! and they're are thousands others like us!

I fear she has put herself on a limb with the "Let them fine away" comment.

On the other hand, it is still great to see Ryan involve his audience in government bashing. The week his own party are shown for the bunch of scoundrels they really are
