They are class. Pity we can't get postcards like that of Limerick. I'm always looking for some to send to mates (in-joke) and the selection for Limerick is beyond crap.

Totally agree amazo - it is a challenge to show how beautiful Limerick is and can be. But Wamble did it.

    Thanks!

I'm a full-time photography student and as part of the Creative Limerick Project myself and a friend got a small place to display some of our work, called The Gallery. It's on 13 Bedford Row, next to Limerick Travel. There are other shots of Limerick in there, if you fancy a look.
If you want to use them as postcards, I could arrange some small prints?

    Open 10am-4pm. Closed Monday's though.
My mother looks after the place while I'm in college. She'll be there during the week. Lovely woman.

David O’Mahony of O’Mahony Bookshop expressed similar sentiments and they launched a series of Limerick postcards, greeting cards early last year.

The postcards are good value at €0.55 each but the greeting cards are a bit expensive at €3.14.

I know it's not Limerick, but I'll throw it up because of it's proximity to the city :)

Haha. I'm not a massive fan of cats. Prefer dogs. They do seem to follow me around though.

Wamble what are you using to shoot with?

    Camera - Canon 60D (I love it)
    Lens - Tamron 2.8 17-50mm

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,484 ✭✭✭The Snipe

Very nice! How do you find the 60D to use? I don't really like the looks of the plastic body - I like build quality.

Thinking of picking up the 60D, or a new 5D/1D to go with my Current 1D.

  • Registered Users Posts: 330 ✭✭Wamble

If I could afford the 5D and the necessary lenses to go with it, I'd get in a heartbeat.

For the 60D, the build quality doesn't bother me. Image quality is all that matters.

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,484 ✭✭✭The Snipe

Build quality is important to me, because the ammount I'm spending on the camera, it'd want to be good quality.

I've got all the lenses etc. for it, (*cough* 24-105 L :P)
