That B777 in Dublin? I take there still is no fuel in Boston Airport since that fire a few days ago? BA are stopping for fuel in Bangor on the Boston route.

I'm no expert but what I do when looking at the photos on your "photostream" on flickr, I click into the image, click on the settings option in the bottom right hand corner and click on "view all sizes". I select the "medium 800" size, the largest allowed in this forum. When this size image loads, I right click and select "copy image URL". I paste this then on the "insert image" button on the boards post

    Hope this helps!

Go to the relevant photo on Flickr, click on "More ways to share", then on "Grab the BBC code", cut and paste the code at the size you want to post.

Does anyone know the full story of this incident? An Aer Lingus 747 damaged during a storm.

  • Registered Users Posts: 834 ✭✭✭Blue Punto

I don't believe it was damaged.
It was in storage on the old runway 23 prior to disposal.
Bad storm and engineless ,facing the wind she lifted a few times.
A tug was attached to weigh it down and iirc the next flight was to MZJ to be scrapped

    It's Abramovich's P4-MES,known as "The Bandit".

Visited Dublin on June 4th 2005 for the Ireland vs Israel game IIRC.

Someone should have pics of it back then.
