Blessington Lake Boat Hire

This is our first year operating Blessington Lake Boat Hire.
We get a good mix of fishermen and tourists.
Now if the weather would just improve a bit ..................

Thank you

Been a while since I got one but used to be able to get them in the Downshire House Hotel in the middle of the town or in the Texaco garage on the left as you head out of the town toward the overflow.
Use of livebait is not permitted.

For those with a facebook account the Inland Fisheries Ireland facebook account is good enough. Plenty of daily updates on fish caught around the country.

They do have a great site but the problem is there are over 5000 lakes and 1000 rivers in ireland, the central fishery board only care about the big rivers and most productive lakes. As your a registered user with a couple of thousand posts, what i suggest you do is actually to shut down this tread because what your saying is there is no need for it.

I think this thread should be deleted and a new one started for a few reasns.
  • The regulations listed on the first post (which is the first thing people see) is a good few years old and out dated.
  • The links in the last post before mine dont work.
  • There are no regualtions for coarse fishing anywhere in this thread
