I fish about 3/4 times a week of cliffs and piers etc. mainly but sometimes off boats and in lakes and rivers. (just started fly fishing u see). How about and angling community just forget the sea specifics?

Gets my vote for sure for sure.

I wouldn't mind seeing an angling forum either!

    ok-
I am hoping to get a non-commercial web site up geared more to Irish sea-angling, as the resources are pretty fragmented..

would it be possible to modify my request to

    Board Name: Irish Angling
Description: Discussion board for Irish Anglers
    Private Y/N: N
    Contact E-Mail: diamondj@indigo.ie

If necessary, and if the demand is there we can split it into
    Irish Sea Angling
    Irish Game Angling
    Irish Coarse Angling

Don't see why not, but I think we may drop the Irish bit if that's okay.

So "Angling" for now and then we can expand to 3 Sea/Game/Coarse Angling boards later if necessary...

For now we coule have a c: s: g: at the start of each post to say which is sea game or course angling. Yeah a pool of resources would be a deadly idea. we can do reviews of where we have been fiching. Im normally in the north west but do be off places for weekends and stuff and do a bit then too.

fishing is fishing, i'd fish in a puddle if i thought i'd catch anything in it, so i doubt theres a need to preface the topics smile.gif

If JD is willing to put a website up for like minded people, I think the board would be a success. It will certainly attract people who would not be consider "normal" boards users. Though that probably makes them "normal" in the greater scheme of things smile.gif
