    I have around 120k to invest long term.
    What would you advise about that?

    20k vs 120k, same difference really.

    Talk to independent fee-based financial advisor, such as Ross Curran in Galway.

    I would like to have an advisor in order to invest them.
    I can also save around 2k for month.
    My propension at risk is medium high.

    I was thinking to buy an house..
    like 250k-300k
    120k plus a mortgage of 10 years for 130-180.
    2 room, one I can rent.
    let's say 700month plus 700 month that I save of rent, it is 1400 plus 2000 my actual monthly saving it is a total of 3400.
    Would be a good investment here in ireland?

    It depends on whether you think ireland is in a housing bubble or not. Personally i think it is and your money would be better spent elsewhere.

    EDIT Actually scrap that, missed that you're planning on living there. Then yes its probably a good investment.

    well..not sure in long term, but probably in the next 2 3 years I will be here for sure.
