Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I got that place for 12 euro once as a walk in on a Sunday night. A 6 bed room all to myself! :) It's really clean and has a HUGE common area. Though I'm not sure the story on drinking in the common room.

We'll make it a story on drinkin in ze common room :P

We weren't drinking in the common room, but I saw people who were.
Also, Anytime there's noc/tGC beers there's usually a few stay there and i think some of the Dublin based people meet up in there and they all have drinks before going out...

Just put it out there as an option for some of ye :)

Before myself and mates go out, we'd listen to some decent tunes having a few cans... Sets the night u nicely.. Especially because the music you'd here later on was generally sh*te

    No!

Cassidys is popular for the previous boards drinks. Also mentioned was the woolshed baa and grill, nice and big with great food.

Great music and tourist types in overpriced templebar.

If you can't get into Coppers you're beyond hope. I got in once when I was so locked I couldn't stand straight, and here's how I got in rubbered. Just lean to your left handside all the time.

Lean against the railings queuing up, grunt at the bouncers whilst holding railings to prevent excess swaying, then against the handrail going down the steps to pay in and finally navigate the tricky nook before the doorway. Now you know, and knowing is half the battle.

I didn't think anyone ever knowingly planned on going to coppers, like abbrakebara it's one of those things that only sounds like a good idea when drunk

Reminds me of that frankie boyle joke..

He describes walking home in Scotland and spotting a drunk guy on his way home from the pub, stopping at a door, putting his hand on it to support himself and then proceeding to take a p*ss.

When finished, he zips himself back up, puts the key in the door and walks in.

Remember my brother pissing into the hot press when p*ssed thinking it was the jacks. Another night he was blind drunk, made it the whole way home just to.fall asleep in the front yard
