Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

He's fairly gone native hasnt he... The Russians INVADED Afghanistan, and they were also responsible for a lot of the killing themselves in WWII.. Katyn for example... Did he get his lesson in Russian history from Putin himself?

Dear god, I'm guessing this is why Hector is on tonight. I caught a glimps of the fishing program last Monday. It was well ........... y'know.

Actually, I though it wasn't that bad, compared to most of the utterly woeful shyte he comes up with. He was good explaining all that quotas stuff.

.........am leaving now to have a good, hard look at myself for saying something good about Hector O'Eegitry.

A Fianna Fáil lad leaves the country and does business in Nigeria. Sounds about right.

  • Registered Users Posts: 226 ✭✭vforvictory

Brian and Amy are too nice for that. They'd probably invite him in for a cup of tea ;)

And I would probably go in and join the Arse Licking Society of Ireland.

The only worse thing about this interview would be if Aunty Mammy O'Rourke joined him in the studio.

(Saturday night in the O'Rourke dynasty)

Mary O'Rourke: "Conor, I left me good coat behind me in RTE last week...will ya tip in and get it?"
    Conor: "I will"

Tubs: "Hi Conor, while you're here..."

I think he might have a problem with his left eye. Remember the time a surgeon called in coz he spotted Conor in audience on LLS and was worried he had cancer on his face? Some diagnosis.

In fairness to Hector, he must surely be wondering "how the hell does Tubridy still have his job, and I'm driving the road in a sh1tty oul van"... Based on figures it should have been Tubridy driving the van..

I wish Hector and Tubridy were both in the van, and it drove off into oblivion, never to darken out tv screens again.

Young Lenihan was definitely on 98FM
In the 1990s he went into broadcast journalism working with the Dublin radio station 98FM. Lenihan also worked as a senior executive with O2, an Irish-owned mobile operator, and subsequently worked as an advisor for the company.
