Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

well, music maker have been having a sale since last week, the prices are quite decent, i only looked at tele's but the mexican ones were beating X music's price and the american ones were under €1000

Also the variax's are dirt cheap, around the 400 mark from 700 for Pod owners

Its more of an anti-bargain alert (:pac:) but apparently Gibson and Epiphone prices are rising by 20% next week. So anyone who had been planning on maybe picking something up before Christmas should keep an eye on the prices or contact your dealer or whatever.

Great Euro/Sterling rate at the moment (for buying gear from the UK) FWIW.

Thats good to know. I was looking at some of their Ibanez range and they are priced the same as on gak.co.uk, the cheapest online source I can find.

Nice one. I`ve had a look at the ones listed and found "my" guitar for £635.99 + delivery on andertons, which they quoted me £30, bringing the total to £665.99 as opposed to the current gak price of £869!

I dont want to seem like I picking on gak, but I was so disappointed with the huge increase.

Anyway I sent gak another e-mail with a link to the andertons price and asked them could they match it.:D

The only slightly awkward thing with andertons is they want a bank transfer rather than CC payment. Anyone dealt with them before?

There's quite a few Gibson Robots going there which seem pretty cheap though I'm not sure what the going rate for those is at the moment.

Including tax JPY 207,900<---TAX included
Tax removal (JPY 198,000)<---TAX exempted

It says that at the bottom of the page. International customers pay the cheaper price. There's a Martin 00028 for €1573. Knock the 20% and it looks tempting, though with duties and all it would add up

Interesting idea here for when you can't get a shop in UK to deliver to (southern!!?!) Ireland, but you just have to bag that bargain they have!

Expensive piece of kit, but the TC Electronic G System is £975 on gak.co.uk
That works about at about €1100 for a savage pedalboard.

Bought a Gibson Les Paul from them in '06 (when they still sold them) and there was a delivery charge to Ireland if I remember correctly. This looks a bit like spam doesn't it ? Albeit perhaps friendly spam. You've got Euro pricing which is a plus and it seems like it's relevant to the current currency exchange. Don't see a Laser sign though so you get minus points there.

Funny, when you select Ireland as the country (top right hand corner) you get a flashing banner saying "Ireland's cheapest bestest most amazing site" , or something similar. Then when you select UK the banner changes to a UK's lowest pricest banner

Would the build quality be as good back then as it is today??
