Lucy made a new friend at social hour last week. I love when they pair up with one big dog and one small - it looks so funny lol !:pac: The game was the little guy was up on the apparatus (I've no idea what to call it lol) - which she was up and running around on so well able to get up to him if she wanted - she was down on the floor and they were barking the place down at each other lol!! The odd time he'd jump down and go under one part at the right and she'd lie on the floor in front of it again with both of them barking!

Eddie has a new friend.....Charlie!! He's been my little project for the last month. He'd been straying for awhile and was in an awful state (fleas,lice,infected paws, mouth ulcer and ear mites). No collar or chip and nobody seemed to be looking for him which I find amazing. I trapped him and got him cleaned up with the intention of rehoming him. But sure....look at that face
Himself and Eddie get on fantastically and I kind of was on the lookout for a second cat so he's a perfect fit.
So this was 4 weeks ago in the trap, scared but he mieowed so gently I think I already knew I'd be keeping him.
3 days in the vets and he came home a bit shellshocked and totally knackered.
Week 2 and looking much better. Still quite shy and a tad unsure.
Week 3 and a total cuddle monster. He's even better this week and has started to play and groom Eddie. Adorable! He's also FIV positive which whilst isn't the best news, it isn't the worst either and as long as there's no fighting between the two of them all should be ok. His bloods were super healthy so with good diet and an indoor lifestyle he hopefully should do well. Have done lots of research into FIV + and - cats living together and so far the consensus is it's ok.

Ah thanks that's a lovely thing to sayYou used to own beanie before he passed didnt you? i used to love the pictures of him, can really see the love you have from your cats from the pictures.
I still miss Beanie a lot but I get so much satisfaction from adopting/fostering animals it's impossible not to fall in love again..and again 0 -
