I was really sweet on Dustin & Rose for this for a long time, last weeks escapade has dampened that for Dustin and Rose recent struggles means I have left him out altogether. I backed kuchar last week @ 20s and I kind of regretting that now. Really looking forward to this event so hope I can get a sweat. The anticipation of the first day is amazing so have gone for a few First Round Leader bets to keep me entertained. I have speculated quite a few points this week but I have done that with each major to date and even had the winner of of one thanks to Justin Rose. I have gone for a mix of fancied and then those at massive price that may suprise and I will most likely lay off if the opportunity arises (well thats the plan but I have a habbit of letting them ride when going well)

    Antepost Bets
    Kuchar 4pt win @20's (I think money back if 2nd or 3rd)
    Snedeker 4pt win @40's
    Stricker 1pt E/W @90's (5 Places)

    Outright
    Snedeker 4pt E/W @33/1 (6 Places)
Dustin Johnson 2pt win @28/1 (pays out if 2nd to rory)
    Westwood 1pt E/W @50/1 (6 Places)
    Stallings 0.8pt win @300.0
    Stadler 0.8pt win @360.0
    Streelman 0.5pt win @430.0
    Lynn 0.5pt win @620.0
    Y E Yang 0.4pt win @640

    First Round Leader
    McIlroy 2pt win @16/1
    Speith 1pt win @50/1
    Lynn 1pt win @220.0

    Outlay - 30pts

    Snedeker 2pt win @44.0

For me there is question marks over all the market leaders this years seem to be more than other years with the likes of Stenson struggling with form, Rose, Mickleson and Day all recovering from injuries and then Dustin withdrawal last week, everyone has their pros and cons and I could also make arguments for backing all of the above.

Snedeker was someone I had in mind for this from the start of the year and was very concerned with his form early season but his last start when finishing 8th in the Arnold Palmer at bay hill was very encouraging, there was two reasons it was very encouraging, firstly he putted very well and looked like his old self with the putter but the reason this might be significant I believe the greens were the fastest they had played on this year up until this week. Secondly he played the par 5s very well on his last start also and we know that par 5 scoring is crucial in Augusta.

I also believe that Augusta is somewhere that suits Snedekers game, he finished 3rd here 5 or 6 years ago and finished 6th here last year which was particularly impressive after missing the whole start of the season due to injury. He also has a couple of other top 20s here so I it is safe the say the course suits here.
