    Apart from observing that a lot of girls who have certain types are hormonal, one other thing I've noticed is a clear distinction between what a girl wants and what she settles for. Nearly every girl I've heard who goes on and on about in shape guys is with an out of shape man. Gotta laugh at that.

    Women will be attracted to 'alpha males' when ovulating - better genes for offspring, but to more 'sensitive' men when not fertile - more likely to stick around and help with childrearing.
