    Going down the shops to get a packet of fags for yore ma
    'Catch a ni&&er by the toe'
    being told to get married just coz you were polled
    NOT leaving your husband / wife coz he / she is a cnut

    Just being outdoors , I think is the main one. Seemingly that isn't "acceptable" today by both youths or their parents.

    Seen a video of me when I was a kid, in the f*cking swimming pool. My da was actually allowed the video camera in to the pool, the place was packed too and I was in the baby pool. You'd do time for that kinda thing now.

    Was only talking about this to a friend last night. She spent a year in NY on a transfer with the company she was working for and was saying that strangers chatted away goodo as a group on the subway every day while here everyone's ram rod straight and silent listening to their ipod on the bus.

    Being allowed bring your shotgun into the post office to collect your dole before ya went off hunting for the day,a friend of mine did that regularly years ago, the ol' wan behind the counter never batted an eye lid.

    Schoolyard football games and even rugby games in the ballcourt. We'd be battered and cut after lón but aye we were happy.
    Compo culture ended that

    Order a phone line from Telecom Éireann and at best you'd get it six weeks later.
    UPC are superstars in comparison to those bad old days

    Drink driving, twas the done thing and nobody cared

    Smoking in the car with the kids. Yeah it still goes on but you get filthy looks from others

    when having a pound in your pocket would buy you enough sugar filled sweets to render you diabetic.

    Kids hanging out the back of tractors and your Dad driving along
    If you slip you go straight under the wheels of the trailer but sure it was normal to me, kids don't see danger

    Putting children on top of a trailer of square bales for some extra weight.
    Bouncing around way up there with your brothers, dodging tree branches and loving it :D


    Fook, how was I not killed on the farm
