I particularly like how they say they held a conference at Cornell University, when more accurately they were at the Cornell School of Hotel Administration, which has general public conference facilities where anyone can book a few rooms and talk about any old crap. Not exactly the same as a university conference, when the spin is removed.
If some Evolutionists put as much effort into looking closely at Evolution as they do in trying to stop ID in its tracks ... they might actually realise what a complete load of baloney that M2M Evolution actually is!!!!

... and which part of 'there was a really exciting symposium at Cornell organised by myself and some associates' do you not understand????

    Quote:-
Well, it turns out that Darwin's theory is coming down. And there was a really exciting symposium at Cornell organised by myself and some associates, and it was entitled 'Biological Information: New Perspectives'. And basically it was over 120 people gathered, about half of them PhDs, 25 speakers were PhD scientists [who] talked about the reality [of] number 1: biological information in living systems is astounding, wonderful, beautifully [?] and wonderfully made and number 2: it is coming undone. And this conference had people from every field, from physicists, bio-physicists, chemists, biochemists, mathematicians, geneticists, molecular biologists, computer scientists. All these people came together. We were agreed one one thing, and that is that Darwin was wrong."

Please bear in mind that Universities are publicly funded institutions paid for by taxpayers (i.e.people of all religions and none) money ... so all conventional scientists are entiled to use their conference facilities irrespective of whether they have a religious belief that they are a Monkey's cousin ... or not, as the case may be!!!:(

you must have a brass neck to be so brazen to continue dismissing evolution when you've completely ignored oldrnwsr's post.

It's only made look more ridiculous by your (purposely, I'd wager) misunderstanding of Sarkys post.

If you can read this, you're too close!

A definition doesn't seem to be forthcoming. I wonder if that means they're complex, functional and/or specified?

Also lol at J C getting his knickers in a twist over being shown his heroes lied about a book in the hopes it would pass peer review by sending it to people who were not actually peers. Watch J C defend them to hilt. Watch the sheer mental backflips he attempts so that the whole sorry mess of creationist lies still make sense in his mind. Watch, and laugh.

Life is too short to wade into those long posts of oldrnwsr ... that haven't provided any substantive evidence for Evolution ... despite the mutual admiration society that has grown up around them.

For example, the most recent mega-post is a rehash of a list of different creatures based on their physical characteristics ... with an Evolution Story bolted onto the list.
There is nothing to show how any of these creatures could spontaneously produce the CFSI necessary to progress from one supposed stage to the next one.
... and the whole edifice is completely undemined by the fact that living creatures at practically every supposed stage in the story exist today.
... so instead of being an over-arching description of the supposed evolution of life ... it turns out to be a pedestrian description of the array of different creatures that are alive today ... with a few extict creatures thrown in for good measure.:)

In other words, you're not able to address them, and haven't even read them properly.

"Life is too short"? You have thousands of posts in here full of unsubstantiated crap and outright lies, and you're not facing up to this because life's too short? Do you realise how retarded that is?

I've bolded the damning part of the quote above. Don't ever claim that you treat posters with respect on this thread again. You've boldly stated that you just didn't bother with a post that had a lot of time, thought and effort put into it. It's incredibly disrespectful to oldrnwsr to state that you didn't read his post.

Do you ignore all posts? You owe one poster, and probably more, a massive apology for the disrespectful way you've not responded to the post(s).
For example, the most recent mega-post is a rehash of a list of different creatures based on their physical characteristics ... with an Evolution Story bolted onto the list.
No it's not. It's an excellent display of how evolution occurs through history to get us to modern man.
There is nothing to show how any of these creatures could spontaneously produce the CFSI necessary to progress from one supposed stage to the next one.
CFSI has nothing to do with evolution, or science for that matter. It remains an undefined property that allegedly bolsters the argument for creationism.
... and the whole edifice is completely undemined by the fact that living creatures at practically every supposed stage in the story exist today.
The quote above speaks for itself with the glaring ignorance of evolution.
... so instead of being an over-arching description of the supposed evolution of life ... it turns out to be a pedestrian description of the array of different creatures that are alive today ... with a few extict creatures thrown in for good measure.:)
Afraid not. It's clearly a post that is beyond your comprehension, but don't despair, JC. If you crack open a few books you may one day get to grips with the basics.

and btw, don't forget to apologise to the posters that you disrespected. It's the adult thing to do.

If you can read this, you're too close!

No, I am referring to the fact that most of them are professional re-enactors who specialise in Vikings, Gaelic Irish and Crusaders - so by swords I mean swords. Bloody great big swords. And axes. And halberds.

All your ranting and raving about respect and then you go show utter disrespect to someone who has invested time and effort into providing solid argument for evolution.

You cry and moan over and over about how nobody has 'W2M' evidence. oldrnwisr gets the debate started and then you just ignore it? You have been let off the hook for soapboxing for this long, but I think it's time you were banned. You are a complete joke.

There's no such rule to read every post. But as you've been so vocal about the lack of evidence for evolution, don't be surprised if people aren't impressed when you ignore posts that show you're talking nonsense.

As long as you either ignore posts or lie about evidence being absent from the thread, you can expect people to point you to any posts that show evidence for evolution.
... and I respect oldrnwsr ... its just I've seen it all before.
If you respect oldrnwsr, you would have taken some time to put together a well thought out post countering his. Instead we get, "life's too short, I didn't bother".
I haven't disrespected anybody ... I love you all (in a purely Christian way) ... despite the terrible things ye say about me and my fellow Creationists.

Yes you have disrespected people, by continually repeating things that are incorrect and have been shown to be so on this very thread. If people don't temper their posts with regards to creationists, it's probably because a lot of people aren't fans of people who put great efforts into trying to destroy science by injecting their holy texts into the texts.

If you can read this, you're too close!

If you guys debate with me in a civil manner ... and treat me with respect I will reply in detail to oldrnwsr's substantive ... and interesting posts.
This thread is like a boxing match between two heavyweight champions (myself and oldrnwsr) ... and even before I reach the ring I get spat upon and hit with baseball bats ... and when I get into the ring half the crowd, along with the referee, jumps into the ring and start hanging out of me ... and throwing punches at me.

... and then ye expect me to continue with the boxing match ... and ye accuse me of showing oldrnwsr 'disrespect' when I walk out of the ring in protest!!!:(

Don't even try to play the victim card again. You're the one who has AT SEVERAL TIMES in the past compared us to Nazi Holocaust enablers when we had the audacity to disagree with you.

So are you going to afford oldrnwisr's posts the respect they deserve? Not to mention the posts of everybody else you've dismissed with crappy one-liners instead of evidence?

We have two different religions ... but that doesn't mean that we can't love each other ... and treat each other with respect ... the respect due to each of us because of our common Humanity ... if nothing else!!!

... ye guys don't think that Creation has any merit ... and I believe that M2M Evolution isn't scientifically valid ... but so what ???
... that shouldn't meant we can't be friends!!!:)

It would be a very boring world ... if everyone thought the same about everything.

It's the part where you misrepresent and lie that means nobody will be your friend.

Also the part where you believe really stupid things, but mostly the first one.

I have plenty of friends ... who are both evolutionists and Creationists ... and we laugh at all the Evolution and Creation jokes together!!!

... but we don't accuse each other of being liars ... because none of us are liars.

... you seem to be confusing different opinions with lying
... and you are confusing arguments based on other people's opinions with misrepresentation.

you totally ignored the post, and now that it's been brought to light you claim you were going to address it. even though you dismissed it saying life is too short to go through the post. it's exactly this sort of double-speak that has done you no favours on this thread. respect is a two-way street, and you've received more than I expected considering how you've ignored so many posts on this thread. what it looks like now is a ham-fisted attempt at damage control by yourself.

save your tears for someone who cares. you nailed your colours to the creationist mast. you've been more than willing to boast that you could handle all the posters that supported evolution on your own. you even went so far as to say none could defeat you. You can't have it both ways, JC.

Life's too short to hear about witches. Deal with oldrnwisr's posts. He's made a compelling case for evolution, and the fact that you are refusing to engage him only shows that you are scared of admitting that you don't have anything you can bring to bear against his posts.

Either show us evidence that he's wrong, or admit you have nothing.

can you break down the scientific evidence that made you conclude nobody will be j,c, s friend. its just proof for that statement im looking for. we know u wont lie.

    1. It has been shown multiple times in this thread that almost everything J C says is untrue, occasionally because he doesn't know what he's talking about, but mostly because he alternates between misrepresenting the truth and outright lying. Not to mention the constant inability to counter any points made by such learned individuals as oldrnwisr.

    2. Friends react poorly to constant lies and non-joking accusations of being Nazi sympathisers. These are things that cause friends to stop being friends.

    3. Friendship requires trust, honesty, a certain amount of respect between individuals. Such qualities in a person make them good friendship material.

    4. J C does all of the things in 2. He displays none of the qualities from 3.

    5. The last logical step is left as an exercise to the reader.
