    Thats so not true :D..... And also a pet hate of mine when people shriek over the newly engaged girl by saying 'were you suprised/delighted/honoured..'
    Surely its well discussed by people now in any normal releationship, Both people should be equally delighted/honoured.
    I thought the idea of female needing a man to rescue them from the shelf were long gone
