I actually thought that robert mugabe had a point with his land reform policy in Zimbabwe. Why should white people have all the best farm land when they only got that land in the first place from stealing it from the natives. The idea that zimbabweans should have to BUY back this land from european settlers was ridiculous. In my opinion it was somewhat understandable for Mugabe's government to forcibly remove non-compliant white people from their land. And I say all this as a caucasian.
Of course I accept that this policy has been disastrous for Zimbabwe and has lead to economic ruin and tragic loss of life and of course Mugabe is a monumental pr1ck and he also used this policy to target black opponents of his regime but I still contend that there was a lot of merit to the original ideas of the land policy.

I think Mugabe is a racist asshole, but was always amused at people who were up in arms at him kicking out the white farmers, because there was 'so much hunger in Africa'.

95% of the white farmers were growing Tobacco. ;)

Barack Obama is not a great man but he is an idiot and a shockingly bad president.

I'm not Baracks biggest fan but I'd wager he's a greater man than you.

    You don't like banter?

Usually not with taxi drivers since it tends to be about how hard it is to earn a crust in the taxi industry.

Elections are simply a popularity contest. The concept of the most popular people leading the country is deeply troubling and painfully illogical. the country should be controlled by a committee of highly educated and experienced people, all working for free.

There should be lots of public driving parks, the equivalent of skateboard parks, where you're allowed driving like a ****ing idiot for a nominal sum or free.

Everything Joss Whedon ever had any involvement with at all completely sucked. As in brutal eye-meltingly dire unwatchable tripe.

    All of it.

People on the dole should be made to do work in their area, clean litter, paint over graffiti or cut the grass verges etc.

Even just a couple of days a week. Look around anywhere and there's tonnes of stuff that could be done.

I believe abortion should be legalised, as well as certain drugs!

I think stem cell research is the way forward.

People outside in pj's should be given ASBOs

Well, yes. But in saying that, every political system is a myth. I'm not sure why you chose to single out democracy.

    Yes! Oh god yes!

I didn't like The Office. Beyond that, couldn't stand more like. I do like him and merchant and the round headed carl, but not that office thingy.

Harry potter is writing by numbers crap that made little or no internal sense. For kids OK, but for adults? No seriously.

People who watch dross like Come dine with me and the like should be lined up against a wall. Not shot mind you, just lined up against a wall.

Political correctness I've no problem with. Its a good thing to make being a twat uncomfortable in polite company. however moral relativism as an argument makes me want to saw peoples heads off. It's so lazy and shouldnt pass for argument. Coming from retards not so much, you just ignore them anyway, but when it comes from clearly smart buggers it's damned irritating.

Many worry about Artificial Intelligence. I worry far more about Organic Idiocy.

Ya, stupid point by me I agree. I personally see these as more of a hobby,(I have little talent in any of these areas so I suppose I have a measure of deep seated jealousy) but I do appreciate all of which you have listed, and the world would be far poorer without. Afterall Da Vinci was brilliant in both engineering and art

Ok, well thank you for the considered and honest response anyway. I'm a craft worker so I suppose I'm naturally a bit defensive of my area. ;)

I have had nothing but bad experiences with these people.

I can't say I've had good experiences either (though I temper my opinions and bias because I don't personally know any Roma so it's impossible to make a balanced and fair judgement on people you've never gotten to know). I certainly think that what you propose for them has no place in a civilised society.

God how I hated that show. I'm convinced Gervais and Merchant were ripping the piss out of the audience more than anything. I'll bet one dared the other that they could write a show that was just like their daily lives, mocking their daily lives and they will love us for it. Saps the nation over spending all day putting up with their retard boss and then going home to watch a show and laughing at plebs just like them putting up with retarded bosses.
