NFL Gamepass blackouts. Will you be signing up?

Yeah, being 1 minute behind doesn't bother me either. I'm generally too engrossed in the games (especially 6pm and 9pm on a sunday when there's multiple games going on) to be on forums and the like. This is my 3rd season to have it and I love it; in the past when the Sky games were blowouts I used to wish I could watch one of the other games instead. Now I hop between the games at will if a game isn't grabbing my attention. It has become my own personal Redzone really.

signed up for 3 day trial of VyprVPN, logged into NFL.com through Argentina and got the Season pass for €120.

haven't decided what to do about playoffs but I'll figure that out in December...

No problem paying full amount, and have just signed up. If I get any discount code from it, I'll pass it on. Working from home, I certainly get use out of it!! And now with half decent wifi & chromecast, it rivals Channel 4 tv quality. Speaking of which, they won't be showing any this year and I dont have Sky Sports, nor do I want it as can't stand the UK guys presenting it.

I can't for the life of me get that price. Annoying because I am saving bad at the moment for holiday money and am struggling to justify the cost of this.

Quick question... When does last year's subscription end? I presumed august 1st but my app still works and I cancelled auto renew?

The new subscription starts on August 7th which is tomorrow isn't it ? So maybe midnight us time.

Hola wouldn't work for me. But one of the guys said he signed up to VYPER VPN for a three day trial. You do have to put in your credit card details so make sure if you do this that you cancel it. Then when you get that installed you should be able to select Greece as your country. Then prob best to clear your browsing history and cookies and stuff and then go to the gamepass website and to where you would buy the subscription. In the top right there will be currency, change that to Brazilian Real.

I would sign up for the free trial for a week though and then cancel it before it takes the payment out and hopefully there will be a discount code too.

Looking to sign up again this year. If I sign up through a VPN do I then not have to login through that VPN every time I want to use Game Pass ?

Got a trial VPN for the purposes of signing up. I tried a few options....Argentina, Netherlands, Spain. €119.99 seems to be about the cheapest for the Season package (not plus), so went ahead with that. Not too bad I suppose (€144.99 for the same package in Ireland).

Turned off the VPN and logged in from Ireland, works ok.

Even if you don't use a VPN, just choosing to pay in Brazilan Real will give you the cheapest price (E160 for season plus). I saw no difference before and after changing to Greece in Hola.

Most of the preseason games are on at very bad times for this part of the world.
I'm going to hold out for a discount code..I'd expect it to appear towards the end of pre season. (Based on last year)

Im waiting. 102 is great tho can't see it getting much better than that.

Last year was a disaster pre season as all the Americans were using the same servers for free and games were hard to watch due to over usage.
Tbh think 102 is the deal for this year

I went for the whole shebang Until this time next year- I like to assume ill need it right up to the Super Bowl- and I weirdly found watching the draft quite interesting!

season plus works out at €158 going through Brazil currency. The regular season is as per Helis price, but no need to go through Greece and pay in Brazil, you can just go straight to Brazil and pay for it in Real.

As an aside, going through Britain costs €183, so that is more expensive as a currency converter. Australia works out at €168. Same for South Korea. Brazil seems to be the best right now. But surely get more than €20 discount than whats on offer now. Its only an 11% discount doing it that way.

Yeah, it's what AIB charged me on the Visa debit. Almost the same as XE currency converter.

My cable company doesn’t have any special packages to see all the NFL games, although they do for the NBA, MLB, NHL and MLS. Didn’t need one in the past as they carried a CBS station our of New York City and I usually always got to see the NY Jets play. But this year they dropped the CBS channel out of NY and went with one in Philadelphia. Won’t get to see my Jets much this year, but plenty of other games are shown. Not really interested in Gamepass. Looks now like I’ll be heading out to the sports bars on a regular basis Sunday afternoons to catch the Jets. Alcohol, pool, darts, pretty girls in skin tight tank top team shirts, and football. Can’t beat that!

Cheers I might just bite the bullet on the 160,sure like I always said on this thread, it more than paid for itself on Sundays... I'd spend it in a heart beat on a Saturday night in town...

seeing all the posts on hardknocks has made me take the plunge. Greece and then pay in Brazilian Real for €103ish. Will see if they do a post season upgrade later on then.

yeah, only noticed once I logged in! :mad: I thought last year it came onto gamepass within a day or so of being on HBO. I watched all of last season on gamepass anyway, and they do have the 2015 season listed in the gamepass NFL Network section, but no episodes with it yet.
