Really looking forward to the Oscars this year! I hope Neil Patrick Harris does well.

E! have red carpet coverage, but Sky have exclusive UK rights to the actual ceremony.

Unreal. And instead of airing it on living or Atlantic they decided to air it on movies. Fuk sake!

    Best Picture: Boyhood
    Best Director: Richard Linklater
Best Actor: Eddie Redmayne (although I'm still hoping Keaton will pull it out of the bag)
    Best Actress: Julianne Moore
    Best Supporting Actor: J.K. Simmons
    Best Supporting Actress: Patricia Arquette

This must be the closest Oscar race in recent memory. Usually, there's a clear winner, but Best Film, Director and Actor are all too close to call this year between Birdman/Boyhood, Linklater/Innaritu and Redmayne/Keaton.

I'm hoping Boyhood, Linklater and Keaton win, though and I'll be delighted to see Julianne Moore finally get the Oscar after so many disappointments over the years.

Looks like it's Arquette hands down for best supporting actress so. Was she that good though? I didn't think so myself. I was definitely far more impressed by Emma Stone. I haven't seen the other movies yet to comment. I suppose after already winning the Golden Globes there won't be any surprises.

Yeah I was kinda "meh" on Boyhood altogether tbh.

However since Arquette was in my all time fav movie ( TRUE ROMANCE) I don't mind if she gets it :D

***she is on the Red Carpet right now.

Interesting. I didn't think HTTYD2 was that great, at least not compared to the first one.

I thought it improved upon all the best parts of the first movie, and the first was my favourite animated movie of all time. Hope they can continue the streak for the third movie, that'd make it as strong a trilogy as Toy Story.

I didn't think it was bad or anything, I just didn't think it was as good as the first one.

Don't understand all the love for Boyhood. Just because the film was made over 13 years doesn't automatically mean it's good.

The last 30 mins listening was drawn out and the amount of crap the kid was talking was boring. Pretentious rubbish.

Bird man and whiplash grand Budapest on the other hand are great films.
