The external temperature in 2004 Renault Clio 1.2 petrol is reading 27 to 36 deg C. Where is probe located? How do I get at it?

Some cars it's within the drivers side mirror casing, being a French car could be the passenger side.

Thanks - nipple is on underside of passenger-side mirror. How do I open mirror assembly - there is usually a knack to these things?
