I'm getting married later this year in north Mayo. Just wondering if anyone was aware of a really good venue for a small wedding party (approx. 30)? Ideally something along the lines of a 4 star.

Was going to suggest Temple House, it's gorgeous, but might be a bit far away depending on what part of North Mayo you are getting married in.

Ooh the Ice House or Stella Maris out in Belmullet would be lovely.

    Thanks for the suggestions guys!

Beleek Castle is already on the shortlist - we've been there a few times and loved it.

    Another mention for temple house.
We got married there, beautiful place. Also nice to be some where that you're the only party present which can be difficult with a smaller wedding.

It looks great alright. It seems to be reserved for the day we're getting married. However, I'll give them a call anyway. Thanks!

It's South Mayo but The Lodge at Ashford is gorgeous. If I could have afforded it...

We recently got married in Belleek Castle. You will not regret your choice, amazing venue and the service was incredible. Guests were raving about it afterwards. Congrats on your decision!

That's cool guys! My fiance grew up nearby it was always something she had on her mind. We've eaten there a few times now. Even leaving aside the very cool novelty of having your steak flambeed at your table on a flaming sword, the food there is great and the place looks great.

Best of luck with your days!
