    Sent 4 to bandon today born 1st week Dec, Fr bulls 95 a piece, would have gotten the same for them if i sent them in before xmas

    This thread is for calf prices, and is here for the purposes of providing information only. In other words:
    NO DISCUSSION

    Posts should include price, buying/selling (or viewed from ringside),age, breed, sex etc.

    Carrigallen saturday calves very good trade
    Poor snow white fr bull 15-20 days old E85 but most fr bulls were 125-150 with one good BF i think round 300 all coloured calves from 200 up most in the high 200s/low 300s upwards some were 4&500, daft money but i was no complaining :-)

    Last Wednesday in Enniscorthy is as follows for the 5 sales I had.

    1 - LM M (DOB 12/12/14) €430
    2 - LM M (DOB 12/12/14) €420
    3 - LM M (DOB 23/12/14) €200
    4 - LM M (DOB 25/12/14) €205
    5 - FR M (DOB 20/12/14) €50 (was out of a Heifer, but FR's were poor overall)

    Carrigallen yesterday great trade.
    Fr bulls 2 weeks 80 euro up to 2-250 for Nov/Dec calves
    Àà bulls 2-300
    Nice quality bb,ch,sm bull calves 400+
    Seen no Hef calves sold as was tight for time and was in and out quick.

    bought a bb heifer in balladuff today 380 4-5 weeks old seems fairly cheap compared to similar in carigallen. Was talking to him after said shes off a milking simmental not a fresian should leave her fairly beefy

    Sold 7 hol bulls .out of yard 3 to 5 weeks 120 each. Man that bought them bought no calf in mart this year all off farm and is fully stocked now.

    Took a full load of calves today, didn't need security on way home.

    Prices from €20 to €90. All young calves cards arrived in post yesterday. Only 10 bull calves on the farm ATM :)
