washing machine connections

    I have question about the connector under my sink to the washing machine. I someone would take a look at the pic and advise me i would appreciate it

    As you have it marked is right.
    The blue lever is the valve for turning off water to connection.

    And the blue lever will only turn a 1/4 turn between on and off.

    thanks. If the blue lever is turned i can disconnect pipe 2 in pic and no water will leak if i use the sink?

    You have to turn off the blue tap before disconnecting the pipe, otherwise you will have water all over your floor. If it is turned off, no water will leak.

    Is there any thing to put under the washing machine so it does not scratch the floor when moved out
