I am concerned about online safety threats to pre teens. I would like to know what other parents do to keep their kids safe?

    1. Educate them about the dangers and what to do if they come across something scary, uncomfortable, weird or 'naughty'.
    2. Actively monitor their internet usage. Learn how to check browser history. The PC should also be in a family room. If in a bedroom, the bedroom door must remain open whilst it is in use.

You can use open dns to block a fair few adult sites

Not a fan of these type of 'solutions' as they can give a false sense of security.

Keep the computer /tablet in full view. Don't let them on FB, it's over 13 for a reason.
