Great start for Pats, but a nice response from the Jets. If they can get the running game going they might have a chance.

    Keeping missing the tackles lads.:(

That's a costly penalty, but absolutely the right call.....big setback for Jets. Need to take all their chances tonight.

Another hold on the next snap, Nink held, no call.

We held them, or they held themselves, to a field goal. Lets put another 7 on the board right here and make this fun!:)

What is going on, defense is in bits. The horrendous Jets offense is having its way against us.

    Horrible run defense.

Missed the start, but apart from that, good start for the Jets.

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,287 ✭✭✭padraig_f

    How can you drop that?

Pathetic drop by Amaro. Pass straight to him and wide open. Can't drop those in Foxborol

Yep, apart from 3 mistakes (blown coverage, 2 holding penalties in the redzone) it's been all Jets so far.....

.....bad drop that would have set them up nicely on third down.

Gronk needs to get the right cleats on.

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,287 ✭✭✭padraig_f

Yeah, stop giving the ball to Chris Johnson.

The NFL baffles me sometimes. How can the Jets have put in the display they did in San Diego a couple of weeks ago?

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,403 ✭✭✭spiritcrusher

Jets Redzone offense gonna cost them big time. Excellent at driving down the field but as it begins to shorten near the endzone they ain't putting it in there. Once the Patriots start firing they'll punish them.

The Patriots are giving Brady a great pocket to throw out of. The Jets gave the Broncos all sorts of problems with the pass rush last week.

  • Registered Users Posts: 32,370 ✭✭✭✭Son Of A Vidic

Ball goes to Amendola and he does nothing...........as usual.

  • Registered Users Posts: 37,716 ✭✭✭✭eagle eye

Vereen again, who is that RB that got injured?:D

  • Registered Users Posts: 9,599 ✭✭✭matthew8

    Hard to believe it's 14-9.

Important drive coming up for the Jets, need to keep the game in hand.

He's stepped up and away from pressure a few times, but it is a big improvement on where they were at a month ago.

    Well, that helps.

Night and day. I honestly had never seen such crazy sustained pressure up the middle time and again in the game against Oakland. Amazing the improvement in a couple of weeks.

Jets OL just bossing our DL, its shocking how bad they've been. How we've managed not to give up a td to this point is beyond me.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 2,052 ✭✭✭poldebruin

Patriots have had the ball for less than 7 minutes in this half.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 2,052 ✭✭✭poldebruin

This FG stuff is not going to cut it though. Encouraging for the Jets, but discouraging in it's own way.

Pats D-line can't stop the run.
    LB's not helping either.

    'Bend but don't break'?
Need to stop these long Jets possessions.
Jets must be wondering how they are not ahead.

    Thats bull****

The non call by the refs caused the flag. Terrible call. Brady threw the ball away and had time to turn his back before being pushed...joke

Tbh I don't blame Devey. If he let them get away with that, it wouldnt be the last time in the game they hit Brady after the play.
