Not a glamorous name, but I've two Technikas in the house - 32" LCD that I've had for 6ish years and one 38" LCD I've had for 4.

+1 on the technikas, have an old one of about 4 years - nothing fancy about them but they do the trick and are generally cheap

Most likely a lot better in all regards, but a lot more when comparing size. 199, vs 329 is a significant jump.

It's 720p and there are folk out there where price point is a limiting factor, it is what it is for the price it's at, comes with 2 free HDMI cables too at present.
If the price drops at 10AM today may suit someone.

I thought that price was the discounted price

, so I was thinking the small price difference between the tesco model and it, didn't justify it!

Yep, any tv that has a freeview hd tuiner can tune in the saorview channels. In any case I doubt Tesco, as an Irish retailer would sell non-saorview tvs. I dont think it is koshur legally to sell non-saorview tvs now.

720p is great. 1080i is clear as day too, but it depends what you fed the TV from source.

You could fed a 4K TV a 480 fed and it will look like ****, that's not the TV's fault !

I had a SEG before updating my TV to a smart TV and never had any issues what so ever.

You take a chance on everything you buy, these days brand names mean nothing unless they are revealing a new technology.

You can get 1.5m HDMI cables in pound shop. And for 720p over 1.5m it really doesn't matter what sort of cable you use.

Bought ethe 40" version of this TV and the sound is absolutely terrible. It sounds as if it coming out of. Tin can. Will I be able to return it for a full refund?
