Finished Spec Ops: The Line a few days back. Thought the game itself was good, by no means exceptional. Felt like combat was a slog at times, largely due to the number of enemies.

Mainly played on for the story. Found it very engaging, then checked up to see if my reading of it matched with what everyone else got from it. Came across theories about an extra layer to the story... which blew me away. Still thinking about it several days later.

    Recent ones for me:

Thief: Xbox One (did a master, no abilites , ghost run) not nearly as satisfying as doing the same thing in Dishonoured

    Child Of Light
    Strike Suit Zero
Kane & Lynch : Dead Men, played it when it came out and hated it so left it, came back to it last week and actually enjoyed it 2nd time around.

Finally started Beyond Good & Evil last night, not seeing what all the fuss is about yet.

    Steamworld Dig [VITA]
    Fez [PS VITA]
    inFAMOUS Second Son [PS4]
    PES 3D [3DS]

    Adding:
Puppeteer [PS3] - I played the demo last year and was very disappointed. But thanks to PS+ I was able to give this game a second chance and I'm glad I did. The actual game itself is a lot of fun and the graphics are incredible. The presentation it great too but it over the top. There is far too many cutscenes and the levels are too long at times. Overall very enjoyable once I learned to just skip all cutscenes.

    Finished in 2014:

    Nexus 7

    - Swordigo: cool little platformer, worked well on the tablet
    - The Room: puzzle game that everyone seems to have played!
    - Kingdom Rush: enjoyable tower defense

    PC

    - Guacamelee: absolutely awesome, one of my favourite games of the past few years
    - Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons: this was exceptional, a great gaming experience
    - Crysis Warhead: enjoyable for what it was, very similar to the original Crysis, VERY short, completed it in about five hours
    - Mass Effect 3: was pretty good but not a patch on the first two in terms of the plot, which let's be honest is the most important part of these games. Just didn't feel as 'cinematic', despite saving the entire known universe this time!
    - Assassin's Creed 2: The first AC game I've played, really enjoyable if a bit of a slog towards the end. Took 33 hours and I ignored many of the collectibles. Has aged really well, the cutscene animations look a bit creaky but the in-game graphics are lovely, the free running is really fluid and it was so much fun to climb the towers :) Have AC: Brotherhood (PC) and AC3 (Wii U) in my backlog.

Still working on New Super Mario Bros. U (co-op campaign with the wife) on the Wii U, Rayman Origins (again, co-op with the wife) on the PC, Spider on the Nexus 7 and Bit.Trip presents Runner2: Future Legend of Rhythm Alien on the PC as well.

Now to choose between Darksiders on the PC or Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker HD on the Wii U - have never played a Zelda game before!

I'm terrible for completing games. I tend to play them to about 70% and then get distracted by something new and shiny. But so far this year I have managed to complete:
    • GTAV [PS3]
    • Spec Ops: The Line [PC]
    • Mass Effect 2 [PC]

I'm in to Mass Effect 3 now and I am pretty certain I will finish it - fabulous game so far.

    Recently.

    Wario Land II (GBC)

Between this and 4, I'm surprised Nintendo has left this series out to pasture so long given the continued indie-buzz for puzzle platformers, and the Wario Land series seems to handle the genre with relish and freshness.

Super Street Fighter II Turbo: HD Remix (PS3)

The HD remix fiddles with Super Turbo's notoriously tough AI (the word 'broken' gets thrown at it quite often) and lots of under-the-hood stuff that made absolutely no impact of my numerous runs through singleplayer, where the same auld basics got the same auld results. I should get a few rounds in on multiplayer to get more comfortable with it.

    Zelda: ALBW
    Tomb Raider
    Hotline Miami
    Crysis 3
    InFamous 2
    Pokemon X
    Bioshock 2
    Far Cry 3
    Guacamelee
Brothers: A Take of Two Sons
    Tearaway
    Resogun

    Adding:
Virtua Tennis 4 - Tough to say when a sports game is finished but I completed the world tour and played a lot of the arcade mode so I'm counting it. Great game for pick up and play, got it on sale for about 5 Euro and it's a nice one to have there whenever I want a quick game. Recommended if you can find it cheap.

That's about it lately. After a string of completing one game after another I've let it get away from me and have started playing about 8 games simultaneously. Hoping to get four of the following done by end of June:

    Borderlands 2
    Metro: Last Light
    Ratchet & Clank 1
    Hitman:Absolution
    Mario 3d World
    Wind Waker HD
    Luigi's Mansion 2
    Resident Evil Revelations.

Will be picking up Mario Kart 8 and Wonderful 101 next week too.
    First world problems.

    Alan Wake,
    Half Life 2: Episode One,
    Half Life 2: Episode Two,
    Fable 3,
    Halo:Spartan Assault
    Batman Arkham Asylum.

Enjoyed them all and would recommend them but nothing really worth replaying. Not sure what to play next though.

Finished Dark Souls II at the weekend and took advantage of the bank holiday over here and cleared Black Ops too.

Started Mario Galaxy tonight. I knew it was good from the bits I'd played since release but holy crap it's so damn good. :P

And for the lulz; 2048... and 4096 :)

Done a lot of catching up this year, as well as a few replays. I plan of I'm currently in the middle of replaying Manhunt, also playing Just Cause 2 and Doom 3: BFG for the first time too. Plan on replaying Skyrim, GTA V and Red Dead Redemption over the summer too.

I basically just want to get everything out of my PS3 before I move onto the current gen.
