Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Hi, I installed LAMP on a VMWare virtual machine. I installed wordpress and created a e-commerce website just for practice. Everything worked fine. I connected via <ip-address>/"nameofsitein/var/www"/wp-admin. I renamed wordpress in /var/www to "blogsite"

Yesterday my laptop switched off with the VM still running and everything open and since then, when I type my ip followed by /blogsite/wp-admin, it takes ages to load and then displays a page with no css or anything that can't do anything.

    What could be the issue?

(Or it could be the latest automatic update to wordpress which barfs for some reason and requires you to restart your memcached manually to fix it).

(Or it could be one of ten million or so other things)

Have you checked to see the VM's networking setup is still working? Can you ping the VM from the host? Is port 80 still being forwarded?
