As the title says. Is it possible to retro-fit bluetooth to the Swing sound system in my 09 Octavia? I don't really want to go down the Parrot route, I'd rather keep the clean lines and put the mic in the interior light.

You can get a VW Bluetooth module for it, AFAIK the swing is basically an RCD310

Would fitting the Bluetooth module be a DIY proposition? Do you know where I could get one? Thanks for replying.

You can buy the on eBay and get them coded. You also may need a mic (cheap) and possibly a new stalk depending. I had a swing (before sticking in a columbus) in a VRS with bluebook and it worked fine as it had the full MFD.

Another option is a double din with it already built it. Might be cheaper too.

Any recommendations as to where I could get a double din to work with the steering wheel controls? I have the full mfd which I would like to work with it too.
