    So this was suggested in the Dayz standalone thread that we should start a character name thread so here it is.

    mine is "chewythefirst"

    I play on "the irish guard" server 212.38.163.77:2602

    And we talk on our Teamspeak Gimmegaming.ie

    I play on there with a few of my clan mates, we are E.I.C (Elite Irish Clan)

    Who is next?

    I enjoy long walks on Solnichney beach and drinking from water pumps throughout Chernaus. My favourite colour Taloon Backpack is blue and I have, on occasion, got a player to bludgeon me to death because I didn't like my spawn.

    Join one of the channels with a few bodies in it & see who's playing. Guys don't usually stick to a specific channel for dayz

    teamspeak is a free program that allows a team of people talk as a group. It is really good you should download it and jump on tonight.

    I personally think that team speak sort of kills the spirit of the game.

    Its great if you are on teamspeak/vent with yoiur friends and you roaming together, but DayZ on teamspeak with random people... nope! :)

    that is the hole point of this thread, so we are no longer strangers. I am going to be on tonight and I will jump onto the gaellords teamspeak, lets try get as many of us as we can to jump on.

    They wouldn't be randoms for long if you hang around. Most Teamspeaks have their regulars, and it wouldn't take long for you to get to know everyone and join in on the banter.

    I joined a random DayZ Teamspeak posted here over a year and a half ago; met loads of great lads and had plenty of laughs. That one TS then developed into Gaellords where the community continues to grow.

    Looking for guys to team up with on DayZ, don't trust any randomers I meet in the game :)

    Currently in the Military Base 1K SE of Vybor, leaving there tonight around 10pm if anyone cares to team up.

    I've 2 M4's(both with decent attachments), 2 or 3 Magnums 1 x FNX45 and 2 Ammo Boxes Full with ammo.
