When you go out into the Winter
You leave without making a sound.
The cold creeps in with a whisper
and by morning it has covered the town.

We wake to find that morning has opened the skies
Watch the daylight arrive as we set out across the ice

The fire roars out in anger
it keeps the Winter from the door.
The tree's against the wind sway empty
we watch as we wait along the shore

Spring will arrive to sweep all the Winter aside
colours will change as the evenings grow longer with time

Head for Home towards the lights below
just follow your boots in the snow
