Hi, I'm looking at buying a 2008/2009 Honda Civic! Can anyone advise on how fuel efficient the 1.8 petrol Civic is? I've heard that for a 1.8 petrol it's pretty economical but hoping to hear from anyone else that is familiar with one of these cars! Cheers

I'm averaging 42mpg on mine with mixed driving. You only get amazing economy if you keep it under 100 kmph on the mway or drive around slower urban roads in 5th and 6th

Its alright, but its nowhere near a diesel economy wise.
