    Bar the occasional brisk shower earlier it is a lovely day here in Galway if a tad blustery. It was feckin freeeeeezin yesterday afternoon and evening.

    Well, we had the edge one shower at 1pm and the edge of another (with a tiny bit of hail) at 5pm.

    Whoppers they were not - 0.2mm in each case, the longest of the pair lasted a full two minutes.

    In between lovely sunshine; but somewhere north of here got a right drenching - the sky was ugly to the north and east.

    Ugly I tells ya.

    Temp topped out at 12.7 and now stands at 8.5c under partially cloudy skies.

    It recorded 2mm between 9 and 10 this morning but I'm almost certain it didn't rain - or maybe i'm losing it????
