I reckon it's an Irish or UK car, the UKDM came with Type R seats and the JDM came with Recaros

I didn't know the Type R was ever sold new here.

The wind deflectors are what tipped me over the edge! :o

A rarity indeed but I think there is a couple of Irish EP3's. Same spec as a UKDM I think.

My very own DC2 is an Irish car. Although the Jap ones are far more common on the road. The first gen Civic Type R (EK model) is the only Civic that was JDM only apart from the newer FD2 but we had our own model - FN2 available over here. :)

White is the Japanese racing colours so your more likely to get Japanese cars in white, when importing people here seem to go mostly for white too but its not the only colour available.

Black, Red, Silver & White for JDM.

Can't get a UK in white (unless it's sprayed). It's to commemorate entry into F1 as their F1 car was white. :)

Honda civic type R is really nice. Was given a lift in one of them before and there is some go in them!

Personally if I were in the market for a type R it would be red. White doesn't do it for me.

Red Honda paintwork is terrible. The official name is Milano Red, but it has been nicknamed Milano Pink. It fades terribly, even with a look of care and attention, it still fades.
Honda paintwork is also very thin :(

Of course, just got some coil-overs for it and trying to find an exhaust backbox that sounds loud enough to hear but not deafening (this plan isnt proceeding well at all).
