    It really doesn't matter when you buy a car, if you have to resort to the first 2 numbers on the reg for vanity, well then you need checking out!

    I've never bought a new car so i don't succumb to reg vanity, but i think that to buy a new car in the second half of the year is mad. If he waits an extra few months he'll have a newer more valuable car for the same money

    Vectra has a disability exemption for part of the cost of the car and I think that dictates the delivery date of the car.

    I've a couple of DSG Elegance models on order since the start of Feb. One is now in shipping but the other isn't being built until next week so is still 3-4 weeks away. Manual's are coming through in about 10 weeks now they have sorted the supply issue with the radio.

    I have to wait until 21st August as I qualify for the disabled drivers scheme and that is my change date.
    Any sooner and I have to repay 80% of the allowance I got for this car :eek:

    That would knock the fun out of it

    Well done and good luck, full leather option is a complete waste of 3k, I have it in my Octy and its only the facings of the seats which are genuine dead cow, the rest of it is artificial leather (or Leatherette as it was once called) and it doesn't wear as well as the real stuff. I'll go with the standard half leather next time.

    I paid almost 3k for full leather back in 06 on an Octy Elegance. Maybe the VRs comes with a half leather interior as standard so you only had to pay for an "upgrade". Well done either way.

    The cars are 25,600 in a dealership so buying in bulk should knock 15-20% off the top of that again.

    Not an expensive fleet and great for GTC at the very least.
