    Didn't listen to his show for years. I remember listening during the summer holidays when going to school.

    Only last night my father said while watching his show 'Am I as fat as him?' !

    His death is obviously related to his unhealthy diet.

    Have to say, we were very sad to hear the news.

    I've been a guest on some of his shows, my wife also, off camera and mic he was was very cool, warm and generous, you had to meet and chat with him to appreciate what kind of person he really was.

    I always maintained that people who spoke ill of him didn't know him and based an opinion because of his radio style, a bit unfair as he was a really good guy.

    Anyway RIP Gerry you will be missed!

    No, the morning show did an extra hour, then Fiona Looney filled in from 10-12.

    Larry Gogan on now, just playing back to back music, barely any talking.
